When Bombay Sapphire asked DBLG to create Christmas with a twist, we designed an experiential campaign that celebrated the brand's flair for craft and creativity.
We believe nothing is impossible. So for our commission by premium gin Bombay Sapphire, we challenged the idea of the traditional Christmas jumper. Rudolph was left in the stable and instead, our creatives found their inspiration in the contours of the sapphire, creating five festive landscapes.
Fashion designer Brooke Roberts then manufactured the geometric jumpers, selecting yarns that complemented the brand’s commitment to quality materials.

Brooke Roberts took our 3D files and set to work designing and programming the knitting software. Every pixel in the digital artwork was assigned to a needle on the knitting machine, producing a graphic, tactile result.
The final result celebrates a very Bombay Sapphire-inspired Christmas thanks to the fusion of digital and hand craft. The jumpers were showcased at an exclusive event with fellow commissioned artists including Bompass & Parr.
